Original to the home, this kitchen no longer reflected how the family lives and was ready for a thoughtful transformation.

We began by removing a dividing wall to open up the space, creating room for a generous island designed for gathering which was  an important feature where the family could sit together, connect, and share everyday moments.

An underutilized room was reimagined as a walk-in pantry that doubles as a homework and office nook, all while being able to add a mudroom for some functionality to every day life.  Openings throughout the home were adjusted to create a more natural flow into the family room, where the fireplace was redesigned and the space fully furnished.

With new flooring carried throughout, the result is a home that feels open, cohesive, and centered around the way this family lives and gathers today.

The result: An unrecognizable space to enjoy.
