I'M KARA,
THE PRINCIPAL DESIGNER AT KNC
Ever since I was a little girl I have found pure joy in surrounding myself with beauty and color. I think things that are a little bit out of the ordinary and make you think, are one of life’s greatest pleasures. I started on this journey because I truly believe down to my core that great design can change lives. I want to help people live a better life through their interiors and believe that is possible for everyone. So whether you are a designer, a homeowner, a contractor or an architect, I am excited to be a part of your journey. Let’s create something beautiful together.

Kara grew up in San Diego, CA. After receiving her Art Degree, she spent a few years as a professional graphic designer using color and design for marketing in the action sports industry. Through some trial and error she found her love of construction and design truly met as an interior designer and she has never looked back. Kara has worked in the Interior Design industry for 6 years and has loved every minute.
Kara started KNC Design Group in 2020. A little after her first child was born. She currently lives in Alpine, CA with her husband and two children. Her true passion lies in construction and functionality. It is a cherry on top that she gets to make spaces beautiful with finishes as well.

Kirsti grew up in Grand Junction, CO and Boise, ID. After graduating from Boise State, she decided to move to sunny San Diego which had always been a dream of hers. Kirsti has an extensive background in banking and operations.
She joined KNC in 2023 and is a wiz at procurement and keeping everything organized on the back end! Kirsti's true passion is traveling and she can often be found out of the country with her husband traveling the world. Though she always responds in a very timely manner, she will likely be doing it from the beaches in Thailand or on a train in England, and we love her for it!
